Algoa FM has been resident to the beautiful coastline of the Eastern and Southern Cape for more than 35 years.  Algoa FM dominates the region with coverage from the Wild Coast to Mossel Bay, where, as many as 20 beaches are found along the way.  Within the footprint, there are 4 airports (Bhisho, East London, Mthatha, PE) and 3 major harbours (East London, Port Elizabeth & Ngqura).  Jeffrey’s Bay is a premier surfing spot, George (Garden Route) is one of the fastest-growing metropoles in the country and the Wild Coast is one of the world’s most beautiful locations, an untouched paradise.  The coastline stretching from PE to EL boasts the highest number of hours of sunshine in the country and aptly known as The Sunshine Coast. The region is known for fruit growing, dairy, sheep & cattle farming and is home to the Big 7 (including the great white shark and the seasonal southern right whale).  The region is also an adventure haven offering bungee jumping, zip lines, surfing, dune boarding, hiking trails & quad biking. Algoa FM's flagship event, The Big Walk for Cancer, is the biggest mass participation event in the province (with 13 000 participants). Algoa FM is media partner to and involved with IronMan, Knysna Oyster Festival, National Arts Festival, Discovery Surfers Challenge, KKNK, Bathurst Agricultural Show, Knysna Forest Marathon, to mention a few.
Our audience is affluent, influential and diverse. They enjoy good music and indulge in quality life experiences.

Algoa FM can be heard along the coast from the Wild Coast to Mossel Bay, and inland to Aliwal North and Colesburg.  Fans outside the footprint can enjoy Algoa FM via streaming or through the Algoa FM app.  Major cities in our broadcast area include George, Knysna, Port Elizabeth and East London.
